About the Journal

At-Takwin: Journal of Islamic Education Studies is a peer-reviewed journal published by Cv. Kayaswara Group, which was first published in 2025. Editors appreciate welcoming all members of the public, especially academics, researchers, and educators, to donate their intellectual dedication in the form of articles to be published in this journal, which are original and have not been published in any other media. The articles may be written in Indonesian or English. The articles of this journal are published bi-annually: June and December.

At-Takwin: Journal of Islamic Education Studies is a distinguished international journal focusing on the development and transformation of Islamic education across various contexts. The journal promotes critical research and scholarly discussion on Islamic education in both formal and non-formal settings. It aims to contribute to the intellectual formation (takwin) of educational thought, institutions, and practices rooted in Islamic values while engaging with contemporary educational challenges.

Topics covered include but are not limited to Islamic educational studies in madrasah (Islamic schools), pesantren (Islamic boarding schools), and Islamic higher education institutions, as well as studies on curriculum design, character formation, integration of Islamic worldview, educational leadership, and pedagogical innovations in Islamic education.
