Journal History

At-Takwin: Journal of Islamic Education Studies was established in 2024 and is managed by the CV. Kayaswara. The journal was founded as an academic platform to disseminate original research, theoretical studies, and critical reviews in the field of Islamic education across formal and non-formal contexts.

In 2025, At-Takwin was officially registered with both print and electronic ISSNs and published its first volume through an online Open Journal System (OJS). Since its inception, the journal has been committed to high standards of academic quality and publication ethics, implementing a rigorous double-blind peer review process involving experts at national and international levels.

Currently, At-Takwin is indexed in several scholarly databases and indexing platforms, including Google Scholar, Index Copernicus International, EuroPub, ROAD, ASCI (Asian Science Citation Index), Garuda, BASE, Dimensions, ONESearch Indonesia, and PKP Index. The editorial team continues to strengthen editorial management, improve article quality, and expand academic collaboration to enhance the journal's visibility and impact.

The journal is actively pursuing national accreditation (SINTA) and other indexing milestones to further increase accessibility and recognition for its contributors.


Note: Starting from Volume 01, Issue 2 (2025) and onwards, At-Takwin: Journal of Islamic Education Studies will be fully published in English to promote international readership and scholarly collaboration.
